This candlestick is an updated version of a classic Scandinavian candlestick that was unusually crafted in bronze or tin. This version is made in glazed faience and it provides new life to the classic shape, not least because of the delicate pastels such as light yellow. The acclaimed ceramicist Michael Geertsen has created the design. His innovative works have been exhibited at the prestigious Victoria & Albert Museum in London among other places. With this design his unique talent has revived an reinterpreted a wellknown and beloved everyday object.
